The school’s Young Sports Ambassadors do an excellent job supporting physical activities during Physical Education lessons and in extracurricular provision. They develop leadership skills by acting as role models and by delivering activities for other pupils across the school. Through taking a proactive role in lessons and during playtimes, they encourage pupils to participate, stay active and enjoy being energetic, with the aim of inspiring our young people to become lifelong participants.

Recently, the Ambassadors have been supporting the start of Physical Education lessons by showing younger pupils how to warm up their bodies appropriately in preparation for performance, how to listen carefully to instructions, and how to work collaboratively and effectively. They demonstrate confidence and enthusiasm when leading the activities, and their positive attitude towards physical activity creates a supportive and motivating atmosphere for other learners.
