Safeguarding
At Ysgol Dewi Sant, the safety and well-being of our pupils is our top priority. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
We hve robut policies in place to ensure effective safeguarding, and we work closely with parent, external agencies, and our wider community to make sure every child is protected from ham, abuse, and neglect.
What we do to safeguard children:
- The school has a Designated Safeguarding Team, specialist training.
- All school Staff and Governors receive annual safeguarding training.
- Clear procedures are in place for reporting concerns.
- We promote online safety and emotional well-being.
- Comprehensive background checks are carried out on all staff and volunteers.
